Their problem
A creative testing system only works if the account can tell you the truth about what's winning. Prior Official's couldn't. Meta audiences overlapped, so the brand was bidding against itself and the data on every ad was polluted. Google mixed brand and non-brand terms, so nobody knew what a genuinely new customer cost. Shopping had no category structure and leaked budget into irrelevant searches daily. The dashboard showed green, but it couldn't answer the only question that matters: which spend is actually profitable?
Our solution
We rebuilt the ad account so performance data meant something, then scaled what it proved.
Segmented Meta funnel, zero overlap. Each stage ran independently with its own ROAS goal. Prospecting is judged as prospecting, remarketing as remarketing. Every creative and campaign got a clean read.
Fixed the data itself. Third-party server-side tracking so sales data was accurate, plus first-party data targeting from their customer base.
Split the brand and non-brand on Google. True acquisition cost is visible for the first time, then new campaigns are built around the keywords that are actually producing sales.
Expanded with discipline. Dynamic Search Ads across categories with increased budgets, while aggressively cutting negative keywords so spend stopped bleeding into generic searches.
Restructured Shopping around the margin. Feed updated, campaigns split by category, budgets weighted by priority and profit margin, brand terms excluded.
