How new creative, backed by a structure that scales winners, took a losing acquisition campaign to 4.1x

Their problem

Moustache's main acquisition campaign was running at 0.81x ROAS. Every dollar in, 81 cents back. The campaign structure had issues (no exclusions, overlapping audiences), but the bigger problem was creative. The ads weren't earning attention, there was no process for producing and testing new ones, and the brand's best-performing content, their organic posts and their Klaviyo customer data, wasn't being used in paid at all.

Our solution

We fixed the creative first, then built the structure that let it scale.

  • Turned their best organic content into ads. Using post IDs, we ran Moustache's most engaged organic posts as paid creative. The ads launched with hundreds of existing comments, saves and reactions attached. Built-in social proof from day one, and it moved ROAS fast.

  • Replaced losing ads with proven winners. The acquisition campaign got new winning creative plus proper exclusions so it only paid to reach genuinely new prospects. That campaign alone went from 0.81x to 4.1x.

  • Opened a new creative testing lane. Launched fresh creative through an Advantage+ Shopping campaign targeting new prospects, and added dynamic product ads so the catalogue itself became creative.

  • Fed the algorithm real signals. Integrated Klaviyo's first-party customer data into Meta audiences so delivery optimised toward people who look like actual buyers.

  • Closed the loop after the click. Rebuilt Klaviyo flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase) and put together a CRO and landing page plan so better creative converted into more revenue, not just more clicks.

The results

  • The acquisition campaign went from 0.81x to 4.1x ROAS.

  • Purchases up 492%. Conversion value up 638%.

  • The account averaged 3.7x ROAS while scaling spend.

  • Banked 2,937 comments, saves, reactions and follows that fed the next month's remarketing. The creative didn't just sell, it built the audience for the next round.
